Unfortunately, the native Android version brings no way to hide apps on Android with on-board resources. However, if you have a Samsung or LG smartphone, customized Android offers an option to do this work. How exactly this works, read below instruction with using the example of the operating system of a Samsung Galaxy S9:

Step 1:

Open the “app drawer” by swiping up on the home screen. Touch the “three dot menu” in the upper right corner.

2nd step:

Select “Settings“.

3rd step:

Scroll down to the “Hide apps” entry and tap on it.

4th step:

Search and select the app that you want to hide in the overview. Confirm the process with “Apply“. Now, This has disappeared from the app drawer and can only be discovered via the search function.

With an alternate launcher hide apps on Android with app

Step 1:
