How to check data usage on android mobile statistics app see
Determine what amount of data you are consumed with your Android smartphone. Maybe it’s less than you think.
For those who are looking for the right mobile subscription, one question is particularly important: what amount of data do I use when I’m on the road? Only those users who stream music or watch movies on their devices need so much. If you just surf a little, check timetables, use instant messenger and read e-mails, you should be under 100 megabytes.
We show it using a newer device with pure Android (a Nokia 8 Sirocco). But it should work similarly on other devices.
Open the settings . You can search right here in the search box for data usage or follow bellow instruction.
Check data usage on android phone
Step 1:
Go to setting.
2nd Step:
First, the display for the current month appears. But you are probably more interested in the last few months completed. Touch the inconspicuous drop-down menu next to the time range.
Here you will find entries from the last months. If you touch an entry, it shows you the amount of data consumed in that month.
Note: You may also be able to view usage of data on the portal of your mobile Internet service provider. The billing period could be different; ie instead of «1. until the 31st of the month » maybe « from the 15th to the 14th of the following month ». Bottom line, it should be the same.
Tip 1: If you are looking for a mobile subscription, look at all available months if possible. Take that month with the highest data usage as a guide and round that consumption to the nearest gigabyte. This gives you a clue as to how much data you should get along with – including some reserve.
Tip 2: Incidentally, you can also see which apps or services have consumed the most data.
